Hands-On Help With Mind Maps

Mind Maps Versatile tools that help organize projects for education, business, and personal development.

We suggest using mind maps for all subjects starting with kindergarten as this is going to be one of the most effective ways to teach Dyslexics anything.  This is a “whole picture” approach breaking down into sequences and parts. Dyslexics have a terrible time with a sequence as we have mentioned many times and writing is all about sequences.

Schools are usually using “mind maps and word webs” to teach students how to write. They are being taught how to develop topic sentences, supporting paragraphs and concluding paragraphs to create a story or report on a subject. This is a great start, but Dyslexic students need more detailed explanations of these writing techniques through various examples and lots of practice. Our book “The Study of English Language” is very thorough with details and examples of these writing techniques.
